Let’s get witch-crafty! Spend the day in our store making Halloween shadow puppets. Led by re staff member and local puppet and mask maker, Alison Hoban, participants will learn to create shadow images from favorite scary stories. Using paper cutting techniques and light we’ll spend the day making flat paper puppets, hinged puppets, spooky shadow scenery, and learning how to use our own shadows within large projected scenes. There will be shadow stage stations set up in the store for testing out what you make!

4pm-7pm
Join us after closing for some Halloween refreshments and extended time to play with and present your shadow creations in the store. Didn’t attend the workshop? No problem, join us for cocktails, to see what participants made and for a special short Halloween Shadow Puppetry Performance by the re staff!
