Saturday June 11th, 3pm-5pm
reCreate Featured Artist Kristie Landry will teach participants how to put those left over pieces of fabric to use. Combine textures, colors, patterns along with ribbons & trims to make useful objects. Even those beautiful fabric selvages edges can be part of the fun. Workshop attendees will sew from a choice of items, tissue holder, mobile device sleeve, pot holder, or a small shoulder bag. Each participant will leave with one finished piece.
Basic sewing skills would be preferred, but not required.
$5 per person
Space is limited, so call 267.997.0060 or email us at email@example.com to rsvp.
Workshop fee does not include the cost of fabric. Participants will be able to choose and purchase the fabrics to complete their projects, including samples, $1/lb pieces, and yardage from our inventory of low cost and reclaimed making materials! You can also bring any materials of your own to incorporate into your piece. The Resource Exchange will provide thread, sewing needles, scissors, basic crafting supplies, and a few sewing machines to be shared by workshop participants.
