Here at the RE we often get architectural samples donated to us.  Because squares of different kinds of glass, wallpaper, paint chips, and carpet are not uncommon in the store, we always like to here about successful creative reuses for them.  Recently local film industry professional Samantha Higgins visited our store and picked up some carpet samples to add some color to her stairs.  Here are the steps before…

It’s a good thing these carpet samples weren’t just sent to a landfill, because the salvaged squares make a bright addition to her home.

When Samantha was finished adding to her steps she had left over squares.  Instead of throwing them away, or even donating them back, she found another creative way to reuse them!
