Maha Yoga & Healing Arts is now Reused, Recycled, and Restored with help from The Resource Exchange! The red curtains for the ladies dressing room, and gold curtains for the men’s were purchased here by Shawn, co-ownder of Maha Yoga. Shawn turned an old wooden picture frame from the re into a sign for behind the front desk with chalkboard paint!
Shawn also rescued wood that was on its way to landfill from a construction site in Port Richmond and built the furniture, including the cubbies in the dressing rooms. But the salvaged decor doesn’t stop in the lobby and dressing rooms. In the bathroom of Maha Yoga, you will find a reclaimed soap dispenser and an old window frame upcycled to be the bathroom mirror. The sink in the bathroom is from our friends at ReStore too. Great job Shawn, so glad we were able to help you create this beautiful space!
