If you’ve been in our new store, then you probably saw our neat retiled floor. Our floor was done with reclaimed tile pieces by friend, volunteer, and former board member, Erika. When we moved into the new building, the floor of the front section was only partially tiled. So we decided to finish it the re way! Here’s some pictures of the process…

Erika used our tile pieces that were salvaged or donated from local manufacturer clean outs and home re-modelings by cutting them down to a size that would fit in the empty spaces.

Erika set up the tiles in a pattern that covered all the empty space and then proceeded to grout them, which was tricky in the very cold weather we had!

But the floor turned out beautifully! Come by and see it in person if you haven’t yet!
