Jim Millisky, creative reuser of fabric for his food photography business, recently purchased some reclaimed fabric for a less delicious but equally as awesome project…a kite!

Jim made this Japanese Sode  (or Kimono) Kite out of a piece of fabric  with a flower pattern and a border of funny cartoonish people (you never know what kinds of fun fabrics you’ll find here!) These pictures were taken of its first flight in Fairmount Park. Thanks for sharing again, Jim!
