Local artist Nadia Botello teaches young students how to make musical instruments. But that’s not all! She specifically teaches them about music and art through the reuse of materials.
Nadia recently taught one of these workshops at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where students learned about sound through the use of materials like rubber bands, foam, tape, tissue boxes, bobby pins, and various reclaimed odds and ends that she found here at The Resource Exchange. Now that’s creative reuse!
