Salvaged Vinyl – creative reuse on stage at Arcadia University Theater!

Shout out to Arcadia University Theater, and Managing Director of Theater Arts/Production, Visual and Performing Arts, Robert Napoli for sending us photos of how they transformed our salvaged vinyl banner fabric instead of buying new!

The vinyl banners were donated from Penn Museum from Mayor Kenney’s Unity Cup! A World Cup-style tournament held over several months, the Philadelphia International Unity Cup unites the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer.

One of their talented students, and re customer Laura Bonacci created scenic pieces for the Eager Beaver Inspirational Poster contest in their production of the Tony Award-winning comedy, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

“We decided to credit her as the winner of the contest 3 years in a row! The dragons are from you- we painted on the other side . We may recycle them further as vinyl bags!”

Tomorrow is last day of show – a fun play about 6 awkward tweens who vie for the coveted spelling championship. More details and ticket information here!
