Today’s creative reuse DIY idea comes from re customer, Alyssa and their newly organized sewing space! Alyssa picked up some reclaimed dowels, project hardwood, + wood stain from the re to make a custom spool holder and then whipped up some amazing reusable tote bags + zipper pouches using fabric diverted from landfill.
“Here are some things I’ve made recently with materials from The Resource Exchange. The thread spool holder is made from scrap wood and stain I got from you, and all the thread on it is from you as well. The bags are made from zippers, upholstery material and thread from you.”
“So fun! Thanks a lot for all you do!”
