James E. Dupree, mixed media artist and muralist, found three reclaimed columns at The Resource Exchange and transformed them into works of art to frame the front of Dupree Gallery on 6th Street & Bainbridge Street. James Dupree is a long time friend of The Resource Exchange, often utilizing reclaimed materials in his work, and is member of the Philadelphia Dumpster Divers!
These Greek columns were originally painted white and saved from a film set by The Resource Exchange. Check out these photos from when we originally loaded the columns into our old location!
