Sustainable Production: ASH Theater Company Presents Hedwig & the Angry Inch

ASH Theater Company is a non-profit organization with a mission to create meaningful theater experiences for their students while providing entertainment for guests within a professional environment. The company has a long-standing culture of opening its doors to those seeking to become involved in theater. With dynamic productions and educational opportunities, they draw the community into their program for the purposes of discovering and developing talents, while providing an environment that fosters relationships. ASH Theater’s mainstage performances take place at Venice Island in Manayunk.

Recently, ASH’s team sourced some very large, seamless pieces of muslin fabric from The Resource Exchange for their production of Hedwig & the Angry Inch. We were delighted to see that this fabric was diverted from the landfills and instead used to create large urban backdrops for ASH’s magnetic stage show!

ASH Theater Company will be producing a Valentine’s Cabaret at Fat Lady Brewing on February 11th at 7:30PM. For more information about this event, visit their website, https://www.ashtheater.org/valentinescabaret.
