I am a Business and Balance Coach and I consider playing in art a secret hack to getting unstuck. I encourage art-making of any kind as a tool to help entrepreneurs– or anyone —  stop their spinning, learn how to release perfection and get grounded.

My art is based on the gratitude I feel in releasing perfection, my commitment to reuse and being acutely aware of the world we live in. A full 99.9% of the materials are re-used and sourced via decades of collecting vintage hankies and ‘70’s linens and not knowing why. Ha! Textiles from Buy Nothing groups, old clothing, my talented sewist daughters and the Resource Exchange add to the mix. Some belonged to my mother who was the OG textile artist in my life, really teaching me the idea of freedom in creating. I dedicate my practice to her memory.

These thread bowls are to be used as prompts for daydreaming. As a life coach, I know the value of this fun and meditative practice. I invite people to spend some time enjoying the intricate, random designs as no two are alike. Daydreaming prompts are included with the bowls.
