Kim Knauer is a sculptor and textile artist. Her pieces combine her passions for cool old stuff and shameless puns. Her assemblage art combines vintage materials and discarded objects and bits of nature as she tries to comprehend people, their relationships to one another and the world around them. Her work is whimsical and thought provoking. She earned her BFA at Tyler School of Art, her MFA at the University of Colorado, Boulder and her art teaching certification at Moore College of Art and Design. Kim and her family live in the Norristown area.
