Marley Massey Parsons (b. 1998, Eastern Shore, MD) is a Philadelphia based multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in the witnessing and documenting of elemental activity, cyclical processes, fleeting time, and unearthing the reciprocal relationship between humans and the earth. Her new body of work titled Horizons, is a site specific series of landscape paintings consisting of second hand watercolors, gouache and recycled handmade paper. Marley holds a BFA in Painting + Printmaking from Salisbury University and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited in various group shows and was an artist-in-residence at MassMoCA in 2021.
