Samantha Wittchen is a Philadelphia-based designer who attended the Eastman School of Music before completing a mechanical engineering degree at the University of Virginia. When not designing, Sam runs the sustainability consulting firm iSpring, writes on green energy and recycling for GRID Magazine , plays harp in her band, The Wittchen Initiative, and serves as Board Chair and graphic designer for Flashpoint Theatre Company. Sam uses reclaimed fabrics from the Resource Exchange to make her own clothing and accessories. The dresses, skirts, pants, wallet, and business card holder pictured here are all made from fabric that Sam found at The Resource Exchange.
