My marionette puppets are infused with as many recycled materials as possible. Fabrics are reclaimed, ornaments can be flower pots, crushed ramen noodles can be sand, a scrap of lace can be sea foam, any material can be reimagined if you take the time to understand the medium. A lot of the job of creating with found objects comes from problem solving your way through creating a new piece of art from objects strangers left out for garbage day, or small trinkets waiting to be reimagined.
