Each year, the Annenberg Center for the Arts hosts the Philadelphia International Children’s Festival: five days of family-friendly music, theatre performances and interactive activities. Our friend Simone helps to coordinate the festival’s FUN ZONE through her organization, The Craft Kitchen. The Craft Kitchen is the artistic arm of The Hinge Cafe in Port Richmond.
In past years, Simone has used our reclaimed felt as the basis for craft activities. This year, she used reclaimed lumber to create games.
Many thanks to Simone for her economic and ethical commitment to using reclaimed materials in her activities with The Craft Kitchen! We can’t wait to see what great games and crafts she comes up with for next year’s festival.
