unnamed-1Tiny Dynamite‘s A Play, a Pie, and a Pint is a project that tries to bring new audiences to the theatre by making the experience social, casual, and fun. An audience member attending any show in the series will not only get a play, a pie, and a pint as part of their low-cost ticket, but also the opportunity to socialize with the artists involved in the work. The most recent play in this series, A Number by Caryl Churchill, used reclaimed materials from The Resource Exchange on set! Set designer Sara Outing is a store regular and often looks for unusal materials in our store that she can reuse in creative ways on the stage. This set included some salvaged plastic sheeting and moulding that Sara used to create the look of a pressed tin wall.unnamed-3

Then later in the series, they reused that materials again for another set. Sara repainted and added to the pressed wall from the previous play. Here are the pictures of the re-repurposed wall from A Respectable Widow Takes to Vulgarity, by Douglas Maxwell.
