Jennifer is the creative mind behind Snackaby, a local company that started by making reusable lunch containers.
“I just couldn’t stand to throw away one more plastic baggie! I used reusable water bottles, stainless steel food containers, but there always seemed to be that last little handful of chips or fruit that made me give in to a single-use plastic baggie in my son’s lunch. What a waste!”
So Jennifer started making reusable baggies that can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher. Each is made out of washable fabrics and a food safe inner lining. Now Snackaby is making all kinds of bags and storage containers-all while trying to keep the operation green and local. With this in mind, Jennifer came into the re on a search for fun prints that would fit her next design plans. Luckily, a beautiful pile of 100% cotton prints had just been donated, and she scooped them right up! Our reclaimed fabric prints can be seen here with fabrics sourced from other places as well-check out the colors!
We also have a lot of rolls of 100% cotton lining fabric that were donated by a local interior design firm. Jennifer also left with piles of this because they come in a variety of bright colors that add to her fun designs. Currently fabrics from The Resource Exchange are being used to make soft totes, which have a firm bottom so that they’re good for storage.
