Around this time last summer, reCreate Featured Artist Stephen Milner hosted a Mixed Media and Assemblage workshop in our store that focused on collaging with salvaged and reclaimed materials.

Stephen is a long time Resource Exchange customer and donor. He often uses salvaged materials from the re in his intricate collage works and also donates materials of all kinds to the store for other artists and makers to reuse.

During his workshop, participants spent the day learning about Stephen’s process and building collages of their own. Another one of The Resource Exchange’s regular customers and former reCreate Featured Artist Kristie Landry attended Stephen’s Workshop and just recently framed the collages that she made last summer!
