We had the pleasure of hosting Rabbi Michelle Greenfield and the wonderful team from Jewish Learning Venture from Jenkintown, PA this week! The Jewish Learning Venture is a nonprofit working to engage individuals and families in dynamic, connected Jewish life in Greater Philadelphia and beyond.
“We inspire and empower those seeking to make Jewish life, learning and community relevant and meaningful, by providing: effective, cutting-edge, professional development and leadership training; comprehensive, systemic support for increased institutional strength, and; dynamic, innovative educational and engagement programming and resources.”
Our Executive Director, Karyn Gerred, met with the group and gave them a tour through our reuse center talking all things sustainability while exploring the art, fabric, bulk hardware, lumber sections, and of course– the Random Room!
The team then met in our new multipurpose community and workshop space to explore texts led by Rabbi Michelle.
“We had an interesting time exploring texts and creative reuse today at The Resource Exchange. Thank you to Rabbi Michelle Greenfield for leading us!”
