Sustainable Sets: Virtual Viewing of “We Are Here”

Prior to quarantine, Eleanor Brown, director, producer, and friend to The Resource Exchange, found loads of reclaimed props for “We Are Here”, a short film she co-directed with Margaret Sclafani for Film Force.
Film Force is a film collective based in NYC challenging directors to interpret the same dialogue-only script into a short film, then share their short films back-to-back at a public screening!

Eleanor sent us two sets of photos from the film- the second photo pointing out props from The Resource Exchange! The reclaimed items include artwork and a fun dinosaur figure for the desk.
I had such a wonderful time spending many hours in your store in February  with my mother shopping for props for my film “We Are Here”.
We can’t wait for when we are able to reopen our Creative Reuse Center and continue to divert materials from local landfills to be used in creative and inspiring projects like this!
