Material Spotlight: Grosgrain Ribbon

Last month, we received a record breaking donation of satin and grosgrain ribbon and ever since, we’ve been exploring the endless possibilities of projects that can be created with this incredible material!

Grosgrain ribbon (pronounced “grow-grain”) has been around since the 17th century.  This type of high quality ribbon is incredibly strong and is characterized by its durable, ribbed texture that results from the corded fabric that makes up its weave.

Over 50 different styles, colors, widths, and lengths are now available for purchase in our online shop
