The Resource Exchange + The Philadelphia FringeArts Festival

The Fringe Festival is upon us!  And we are thrilled to have been able to help theater, music, and dance companies alike complete their totally original works of performance.  The 2013 Philadelphia FringeArts Festival started yesterday and is running until September 22nd.

Fringe shows that used reclaimed, salvaged, upcycled, and reused materials from The Resource Exchange include:

Antihero by Tribe of Fools, As Pretty Does by Keila Kordova Dances, Opera Macabre: Edgar Allan Poe by The Philadelphia Opera Collective, The Ballad of Joe Hill by Swim Pony Performing Arts, and This is the Twilight Kingdom by Found Theater Company.  Details on how each company is using our materials coming this week on our blog!

OPENING TONIGHT: AS PRETTY DOES by Keila Cordova Dances

As Pretty Does is “inspired by lost histories so true they seem fictional, As Pretty Does asks, What is it to be human? Taking a journey of provoking movement and humor, Keila Cordova brings us an experimental collision: micro-storytelling meets pure dance. “We know what we are, but not what we may be.” (Shakespeare)
