The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology is currently undergoing an exciting Building Transformation. The renovations are providing the museum a chance to change up displays in their galleries and clean out uneeded materials. While they don’t need these materials now, they are still reusable, so of course, they contacted The Resource Exchange. The Penn Museum donated acrylic pieces, loads of hardware, tools, building materials, and display fixtures to The Resource Exchange, preventing them from going to landfill, and enabling them to have a second life in the hands of our creative customers.
Ben, from the museum, was also able to talk to us about the transformation how they can use more reclaimed materials in upcoming projects! Thanks to The Penn Museum for looking for alternatives to landfill and for partnering with us to save some great materials.
